The businesses the students visited were Mold-Tech Inc. in Albertville, UMC in Monticello, and Productivity Inc. in Plymouth. The tour held special significance, because it allows the college to maintain relationships with the Legends alums employed at these locations.

While at Productivity Inc., the Gene Haas Foundation presented a $30,000 check to the machine tool program faculty. The money will be awarded to the Machine Tool students in the form of scholarships for the fall class of 2024.

These industry visits offered valuable insights to the students, providing them with real-world exposure to manufacturing processes and the opportunity to connect with alum working in these dynamic manufacturing environments.
