Nearly 70 Students Graduate from Police Training and Education Skills program— Summer 2024.

Each summer, the Police Training and Education Skills program brings students from across the upper Midwest to our campus to learn the hands-on practical skills needed to be a peace officer.

In addition to students from College, this year we welcomed students from Alvernia University, Bemidji State University, Bethany Lutheran, Bethel University, Concordia St. Paul, Hennepin Technical College, Minnesota State College Southeast, Minnesota State Community & Technical College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota State University, Ridgewater College, Southwest Minnesota State University, St. Cloud State University, St. Mary’s University, University Of Minnesota Crookston, University Of Northwestern, University Of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and University Of Wisconsin River Falls.

A graduation and recognition ceremony was held on Friday, July 12, 2024. Lucas Hodges received the award for highest physical fitness test score of 97.55%. Vicente Amoles and Jefferson Wiemiller both earned highest firearms score award tying with a 96.8%. The event was livestreamed and the recording can be viewed .
