Congratulations to the four ATCC students who brought home national medals:

• Luke Johnson, Palmer, IA (Gold) – Marine, Motorcycle, & Powersports Technician program
• Nicholas Tougas, Avon, MN (Gold) – Carpentry program
• Nicholas Walter, New London, MN (Silver, High School) – Marine, Motorcycle, & Powersports Technician program
• Daniel Townsend, Miltona, MN (Bronze) – Marine, Motorcycle, & Powersports Technician program

Thirteen student competitors placed in the top 10, and seven students earned Skill Point Certificates based on industry standards. Skill Point Certificates are awarded to national competitors who reach or exceed a threshold score in the national competition. The Skill Point Certificate is the highest achievement a competitor can earn. It demonstrates a student's proficiency and workplace readiness in their occupational specialty.

In addition, two ATCC students served as Voting Delegates for National Officer Candidates: Elijah Haakenson of Albertville, MN and Lars Dropik of Carlos, MN. Haakenson is in the Mechatronics program and serves as a SkillsUSA Minnesota State Officer. Dropik is in the Machine Tool Technology program.

Power Equipment Technology

• Jackson Cavers (High School) – 19th place

Mechatronics

• Gavin Hasse (Team Contest) – 8th place
• Mikal Woidyla-Wood (Team Contest) – 8th place

Technical Drafting

• Christian Kuball – 9th place
• Cole Tetile (High School) – 16th place

Welding

• Lucas Melson – 6th place
• Austin Engelmeyer (High School) – 8th place

CNC Turning

• Austin McClain – 4th place – Skill Point Certificate

CNC Milling

• Claton Fisk – 10th place

CNC Programmer

• Devan Liebeg – 10th place

Related Technical Math

Motorcycle Service Technology

In total, students from Minnesota State institutions had 39 top ten finishes and brought home 11 medals.
