PURPOSE/SCOPE

º£½ÇÉçÇø Technical & Community College (ATCC) will act as a proctoring location for students enrolled in Minnesota State distance education course(s) or students enrolled in a credit-based course(s) from another accredited, degree granting, ATCC partner college or university.

ATCC COMMITMENT

• A reasonably quiet environment. Exams are proctored in the ATCC Testing Center; it is a small physical space and there may be noise and distractions, as there are others taking exams in the same room.
• Reasonable monitoring during exams. Proctors are NOT able to provide one-on-one monitoring. ATCC does not assign specific staff to proctor specific students; any staff working in the Testing Center may be assigned to proctor.
• Confidentiality of student exam information.
• Reasonably prompt return of completed exam to instructor.
• Access to the ATCC network for taking an exam only; this does not include network/computer access for studying & printing.
• ATCC retains the right to refuse or cancel a proctoring request that has extremely time consuming expectations.
