�������� Technical and Community College hosted its 2024 retirement social on April 25, 2024. The college staff and faculty honored the following individuals for their collective dedication, equaling over 200 years of service to �������� College:

�������� Technical and Community College has hired Dr. Sara Fier as its next Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. Her first day will be July 8, 2024.

�������� Technical and Community College Students from the Accounting, Business Management, and Marketing & Sales Management programs competed at the DECA International Career Development Conference, April 20-24, 2024, in Austin, TX.

The �������� Technical and Community College Foundation and the �������� Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Wednesday, August 7 at 3:00 pm, to celebrate the opening of J.A. Wedum Foundation Hall (1509 Jefferson Street, ��������).

The SkillsUSA organization awarded Les Zimmerman, carpentry instructor at �������� Technical and Community College, the 2024 SkillsUSA Friend of SkillsUSA Award during the 2024 SkillsUSA Minnesota State Championships in St. Paul, Minn., on April 13.

The first group of �������� Technical and Community College Marine, Motorcycle, & Powersports Technician students completed the compact diesel training and certifications through Kubota TECH.

Students from �������� Technical and Community College competed in the 2024 SkillsUSA Minnesota State Championships and claimed 27 first place, 25 second place, and 17 third place spots with 19 students advancing to the national competition in Atlanta, Georgia, June 24-29, 2024.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) awarded �������� Technical and Community College a $750,000 grant as part of the Drive for 5 Workforce initiative.

Author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once wrote, “a goal without a plan is just a wish.” At ��������, we have embraced a very results-driven goal setting culture. When establishing enrollment goals we look not only at total headcount, but at full year equivalent (FYE)—the total number of credits sold divided by 30. Looking at both metrics allows us to establish goals toward serving more students and ensuring a balance between full- and part-time students. Since establishing our five-year plan (2020-2024), our primary goals have been to increase headcount to more than 4,000 (+8.7%), and increase FYE to more than 2,000 (+15.7%). These are optimal numbers for the college given our facilities and program capacity, and after years of hard work and monitoring, these goals are now within our reach.
